Nancy's Vegetable Soup
Ingredients
- 2lbs ground beef or turkey
- 1 quart or 5-1/4 cups tomato juice
- 1 cup stewed tomatos or 1 quart
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tsp or less garlic salt
- 2 cups chopped celery
- 1 cup carrots diced or sliced
- 2 tsp basil
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 tsp onion flakes
- 1 cup canned mushrooms, drained (optional)
- 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce
- 2 cups green beans (any kind)
- 2 cups cabbage, small pieces
Instructions
- In large saucepan, brown beef (drain well).
- Combine all other ingredients and add beef.
- Simmer 2 hours.
