Ilene's Angel Food Cake
 
Ingredients
Instructions
  1. Sift together 1-1/3c cake flour and 1-1/2 c powdered sugar.
  2. Beat 2 cups egg whites until foamy.
  3. Add 2 tsp cream of tartar and 1 tsp salt. Beat until stiff.
  4. Add 1-1/3 c white sugar, 2 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp almond.
  5. Fold in flour and sugar.
  6. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes.
Notes
The back of this recipe has written to bake 60 minutes, which leads me to believe that 40 minutes may not have been enough.
