This website hosts a digital collection of James William and Lillian Rose Fink (Sidney, Ohio) family items – photos, family recipes, and more. It is lovingly curated by the family and friends, and updated and maintained by their granddaughter, Candice DeWitt.

This is, obviously, a long and tedious work in progress so please bear with me as I sift through and scan the various photos, documents, recipes, and whatever else we find along the way. My intention is to try to tag/categorize photos to make it easy to find other photos of that particular family member but things will sometimes end up marked incorrectly. If you notice something incorrect, please feel free to comment on the item with what correction should be made!

How to use this website

Here’s a quick rundown on how this will work (in theory):

• All new content/photos/etc will be posted under the “news” menu item. That’s the website’s blog/catch-all. Each post, however, will be placed into a category depending on where it belongs (recipes with recipes, photos with photos, etc). So if you want to see the hodge-podge mix of everything as it has been added, that’s your place to look.
• If you want to just see photos, the Photos item will pull in all the posts that have been added to the photos category. Recipes will work the same.
• Photos should be tagged with who the photo contains, and once I get that going I’ll add to this how you can search by a specific tag to see all photos of that person.
• Photos, once I get them to scan, will be uploaded at a high quality so you will have the ability to download them and print the ones you want for your own personal use.
