Peanut Brittle
- 2c white sugar
- 1 c white (corn?) syrup
- ½c water
- 1 pound raw peanuts
- 1 tsp soda
- Boil the sugar, syrup, and water until a soft ball stage - 236°.
- Add one pound of raw peanuts.
- Let boil to 290°, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and add 1 tsp baking soda. Pour into a cookie sheet greased with butter.
